Matthew Rochte is a Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility Consultant and Green Business Coach who is passionate about smart sustainable business. He helps business leaders see and realize the opportunity in sustainable / green business thinking.
Rolling out sustainability and CR programs require systems thinking, broad concept integration, and community building which are three key strengths of his. He understands that capitalism and corporations are living entities and as such they must be engaged as the complex adaptive systems that they are. Perhaps most importantly, he understand that sustainability and corporate responsibility are not merely about PR and philanthropy, but rather, smart business and that they are most effective when they creates value through cost reductions, strategic advantage, and increased sales.
At the forefront of the “Green Business” movement, Matthew Rochte began practicing, researching, and presenting on the subjects in 1994. As an operations director and part owner of a green-oriented manufacturing company, he brings to the table seven years of triple-bottom-line (People/Planet/Profit) business leadership.
Currently, Matthew consults, lectures, and teaches on how sustainable/green business practices can, and are changing, the world for the better. Having been a business leadership coach for 18 years he is the past president of the Minnesota Coaches Association and served six years on the International Coach Federation’s Ethics and Standards Committee.
